The Process.
-
Pick Your Chain.
Decide which 14k Gold chain you would like for us to use as your personal jewelry piece (bracelet, necklace, anklet, etc) . Let us know if you would like to make it permanent (or add a clasp). We can add a charm at this point as well.
-
Custom Fit.
We will measure the chain to your exact measurements so that it is a perfect fit! We will then cut the chain to size and connect the ends with a jump ring.
-
Weld Together.
A small suture of your jump ring will weld our pieces together to create a permanent jewelry piece. You are just a zap away from having your own personalized jewelry. Long are the days that you will forget to put your jewelry on!
Frequently asked questions
What is permanent Jewelry?
Regularly clean your jewelry using mild soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry. Do not rub.
⦁Always clean your jewelry when it comes into contact with other materials (cleaning products, shampoos, make-up, pools, hairspray, lotion, self tanner, etc.)
⦁Use a microfiber cloth regularly to prevent any oxidation or tarnishing. Avoid rough materials such as towels, shirts, paper towels, etc.
Permanent jewelry consists of a high quality chain of your choosing that is fit to you. Instead of having a clasp, your jewelry will be connected at the ends by a tiny ring called a ‘jump ring’ that is then welded closed with a jewelry welder. The only way to remove your jewelry at this point is to cut it off (kitchen scissors will work)!
How do I care for my jewelry?
What kind of gold do you use?
Our jewelry is 14k gold filled. It is not solid gold, but should not be confused with plated jewelry. 14k gold filled jewelry is made up of a core of high quality jeweler’s brass with a thick layer of gold bonded to the brass. It is considered a high quality metal that can be worn daily. It is hypoallergenic and will not tarnish.
What if I have to have an X-ray, MRI or surgery?
If you have a planned medical procedure coming up where you know you cannot wear metals, we do recommend you get a clasp on your jewelry so it can be easily removed (we can always make it permanent later). If you happen to have to have surgery or medical imaging done that is not planned, find the jump ring (where we welded your jewelry) and use a pair of scissors or nail clippers to cut the ring. Keep the chain stored in a ziplock bag and we will be glad to re-weld your jewelry at no cost!
Do you have a phsyical location?
While we do not have a physical location (brick & mortar), we do pop-ups in the tri-cities (festivals, local businesses, special events) and private parties!
